To be able to use Dropbox, you must create an account first. You can also set the device to sync all folders in your Dropbox, or you can use "Selective Sync" to choose certain people.
After you install Dropbox on your computer, you will be able to copy or move the data to be shared online. So, if you want to access your Dropbox files through another location, simply log in using the username and password on the Dropbox website developer.
Although you do not have the Dropbox app installed on the computer. You can still view, download or upload content directly through a web browser.
Still, the job will be easier and faster if Dropbox is installed on a particular computer. In the online browser you can search for files and folders in your Dropbox, create a new folder, view files and deleted events (similar to Explorer in Windows), send invitations to your friends, and many more features provided by this application.
Unfortunately however, the free version of Dropbox only provides you with 2GB of space. But you can get extra space free, by completing the "Getting Started" tour and by sending invitations to friends (you can get up to 8GB).
The point is that Dropbox provides one of the simplest solutions to share data online and it is highly recommended to all users.
